unit 4 loving kindness
for me this exercise was hard. I cant make my self feel a certain way at all. I am able to feel the pain my loved ones are feeling. if only i was able to make my loved ones feel better by just breathing out. the concept of a mental work out is to make her brain healthier to were you can help others out in the best way you know how to. I can implement mental work outs through out the day to help with my psychological wellness by telling my self every day that it is going to be a great day..

I guess the point of these exercises is so that by helping ourselves we can better help others. At least that's what it seems like.
ReplyDeletePositive affirmations are great. I love saying them in the mirror in the morning. It is almost like making my bed when I get up. I find that it is a great way to get your day going. I also understand the difficulty of these exercises. I think with most anything new is difficult at first.
ReplyDeleteI think that's a great start and I thank you for youre honesty. It's easy to relate to pain or comfort someone in pain because I culturally this country has been traiined to feel such compassion for our neighbors. I' sure your loved ones know you want to be there for them I think the trick is being that in a way that doesn't compromise you're own happiness. I don't that's selfish just know that you can't be there for someone if you don't know how to care for self.
